Leadership Message
Dear St. Luke Families,
This week, we were incredibly fortunate to witness a truly remarkable shadow performance by our students, depicting the final days of Jesus. They delivered a moving portrayal of the events leading up to His crucifixion, conveying a powerful message of His resurrection and the promise of eternal life. Their performance served as a reminder of Jesus' enduring presence and the profound gratitude we should feel for His ultimate sacrifice, offering us the opportunity to reunite with Him in heaven.
Thank-you to everyone who participated in the teacher, student, and parent conferences. Your active involvement and support are invaluable as we guide our students along their academic journey. We had a strong turnout at the Book Fair, where many individuals stopped by. Your contributions greatly aid in providing new reading materials for our students in the library, fostering their love for learning and literacy. Thank you for your continued dedication and support.
Classes enthusiastically participated in the art of decorating Pysanky Ukrainian Easter Eggs which brings us closer to Easter. I hope students shared their eggs as they were so beautifully done.
We're excited to share numerous pictures capturing the fantastic events at St. Luke. If you are not already, please consider following our St.Luke Facebook Page and/or our Instagram page and sharing it with your family, friends, and community to stay updated on all our wonderful activities! We would love your assistance with spreading the news about our wonderful school and the great community of South Cooking Lake.
If you have not already done so please log in to Powerschool to pay this year’s school fees. If the fees are not paid as of June 28th the fees will go to collections. The school will also have to pay a fee for collections so it is so important that this be done prior to the end of school.
As we enter the Easter season, consider taking some time as a family to reflect on the significance of this special time. You could:
Attend church services together to deepen your understanding of the Easter story.
Engage in discussions about the importance of Easter and its meaning in your faith tradition.
Plan family activities centered around themes of renewal, gratitude, and hope.
Encourage acts of kindness and generosity towards others as a way to embody the spirit of Easter.
Create Easter-themed crafts or decorations together to celebrate the season.
Read stories or watch movies that highlight the themes of resurrection and new beginnings.
Take part in community events or volunteer opportunities to spread joy and goodwill during this time.
Above all, cherish this season as an opportunity to strengthen bonds as a family and deepen your spiritual connection.
Wishing you all have a wonderful Spring Break and a very Happy Easter!
