A Message from Principal Cutone
Hello HES Community,
It has been a terrific week here at Harwich Elementary School! We wanted to keep you in the loop about all the exciting happenings and updates from our school.
All Shark Meeting Highlights
On Tuesday, we had our first All Shark Meeting, and it was a fantastic gathering of our school community. During the meeting, we discussed what it means to be a Shark and the collective responsibilities we all share in ensuring that our school is a place filled with kindness, acceptance, and support for one another.
We also had the pleasure of reading the book "Say Something" by Peter H. Reynolds, which served as a powerful reminder of the importance of speaking up when something doesn't seem right. We want our Sharks to know that a single voice can make a significant difference, and it's crucial that we all stand up for each other.
Some memorable moments from the meeting included Ms. Smith's 2nd graders singing "Make New Friends" and Ms. Krystofolski's 4th graders leading us all in singing our school song. The grand finale was a celebration of the fish bowls in classrooms filled with waterdrops, reflecting acts of respectful, responsible, safe, and ready-to-learn behaviors. It was truly an uplifting experience for everyone involved!

We were thrilled to welcome our dedicated families to Harwich Elementary School this week for Curriculum Night.
