Welcome to a New Month!
As we step into a fresh month full of opportunities, we’re excited to share updates and reminders that will help our students stay on track and continue to grow. Let’s make this month one of positivity and progress!
A friendly reminder from our handbook: Attendance is crucial for academic success. Please ensure students arrive on time and ready to learn every day. Consistency builds strong habits, and every moment in class matters.
Also, as the weather gets cooler, please review the dress code policy for appropriate seasonal attire. Uniforms help us maintain a cohesive, professional environment that fosters pride and focus in our school community.
Let’s continue supporting one another as we navigate this exciting journey together. Together, we can make this month a fantastic one for our students!
Warm regards,

Mid-Quarter Check-In
We’re halfway through the quarter, and it’s the perfect time to check in on progress and set goals for the rest of the term. We’re here to support you every step of the way!
Friendly reminder: Homework completion and active participation are key components of student success. According to our handbook, students should spend at least 30 minutes daily on independent reading or review. This simple practice reinforces learning and builds confidence in their abilities.
Additionally, as flu season begins, please keep our health policies in mind. Students feeling unwell should stay home and rest, ensuring the well-being of the entire school community.
We believe in our students’ potential and are committed to helping them thrive. Thank you for your continued support and partnership!
Warmly,
The CMIT Admin Team

Salesforce CRM is a platform designed to help businesses and organizations manage relationships, improve communication, and streamline operations. Students gained insight into how this technology is used globally to support innovation and efficiency.
Students learned the core purpose of CRM systems: building and maintaining strong customer and stakeholder relationships. They explored how Salesforce empowers businesses to track and enhance these connections effectively.
We discussed various Salesforce editions, such as Essentials, Professional, Enterprise, and Unlimited, and how they cater to organizations of different sizes and needs.
Students were introduced to the Developer Edition, a free training environment where they practiced real-world applications of Salesforce.
Students explored the difference between Salesforce Classic and Lightning, focusing on the modern design and enhanced capabilities of the Lightning Experience.
Used the App Launcher to access Salesforce apps like Sales and Marketing.
Practiced using the Global Search tool to find records and information.
Created and managed list views to organize data effectively.
Collaboration Tools
Students enjoyed using Salesforce Chatter, a real-time collaboration tool, to simulate workplace interactions and teamwork.
Set up personal preferences, including language and time zone settings.
Explored how to tailor Salesforce homepages to optimize productivity.
Practical Application
Our students applied these concepts through hands-on activities, such as:
Creating personalized dashboards and list views.
Practicing record searches and data organization.
Using Chatter to simulate professional collaboration.
These activities not only strengthened their technical skills but also emphasized teamwork and communication.
In our next unit, we’ll explore Salesforce Activities and learn how to manage tasks, events, and emails like true professionals. Students will deepen their understanding of how Salesforce is used to improve daily workflows in businesses.
We are thrilled with the progress our students are making and look forward to sharing more updates with you as they continue their Salesforce journey.

Attention Students: Parking Policy Reminder

Parking without a permit not only violates school policy but also takes away spaces reserved for permitted students.
Let’s work together to ensure fair and organized parking for everyone.
Thank you for your cooperation!
IMPORTANT REMINDERS FROM THE ADMINISTRATIONS
Start the Day Right: Arrive on Time!
Punctuality sets the tone for success. Students arriving after 8:05 am are considered tardy and must sign in to receive a late pass. Please plan accordingly to ensure your student starts the day stress-free. Regular tardiness may lead to consequences such as detentions or even in-school suspension. Let's work together to promote responsibility and academic achievement!
Stay Safe During Arrival!
A friendly reminder to use the designated drop-off lanes for morning student arrival. Please avoid neighboring parking lots and student parking areas to ensure safety for everyone. Let’s work together to maintain an efficient and safe process.
Dismissal Procedures
Dismissal begins at 2:53 PM. Students should head directly to their designated pick-up areas. Please refrain from gathering near the building’s entrances to allow for smooth transitions.
Understanding the Dress Code
Our uniform policy ensures a professional and cohesive environment. Students must wear CMIT-logo shirts and khaki or navy bottoms. Outerwear with hoods is not permitted inside the building.
Kickboard Access
Stay informed about your student’s behavior and performance via Kickboard. Log in regularly to monitor points and updates. Check your email for your access code.
E-Hallpass Protocol
Students must have an E-Hallpass when leaving class. This ensures accountability and a safe, orderly environment. No passes will be issued during the first or last five minutes of class.
Cheating & Plagiarism Policy
Academic integrity is key. Cheating and plagiarism result in a zero for the assignment and potential disciplinary action. Let’s work together to encourage honesty and effort!
Clear Backpacks Only!
To maintain safety, all students must use clear backpacks. Lunch bags and small personal bags are allowed but must be small and kept in student lockers during classes.
Lunchroom Etiquette
Students are expected to stay seated during lunch unless retrieving food or disposing of trash. Let’s make lunchtime enjoyable for all by following cafeteria rules. Together, we thrive!
Technology Usage Rules
Personal laptops and non-CMIT-issued iPads are prohibited. School technology should only be used for educational purposes.
Tardiness Matters!
Students arriving after 8:05 AM are considered tardy. Late arrivals must check in at the front desk for a pass. Remember, punctuality helps set the tone for a successful school day!
