School Advisory Council
School Advisory Councils (SAC) is a school-based group intended to represent the school and the community. The group shares responsibility for guiding the school toward continuous improvement. The SAC is composed of the principal and a balanced number of elected teachers, education support employees, students, and parents, along with appointed business and community people, who are representative of the ethnic, racial, and economic community served by the school.
Please click on the link below to vote to elect the following nominees to serve on the 24-25 Challenger 7 School Advisory Council. All nominees are eligible to be a member on SAC so you can vote to elect more than one nominee if you choose.

For the 2024 - 2025 school year, we have regained our Title I status. This status provides the school with an additional $267,216 to spend on school supplies, family nights, technology, staff, and more. Title I status is determined partially by Free and Reduced Lunch applications. Even though all students will receive free lunch this year, we need all families to complete the free/reduced lunch application. Even if you do not think you will qualify, please complete the application to help us maintain our funding for next school year.
Information can be found at https://www.brevardschools.org/o/bps/page/free-and-reduced-lunch-overview
The application can be found at https://www.brevardschools.org/o/bps/page/free-and-reduced-lunch-applications. Applications open August 1st.

PBIS STAR Store
We are a PBIS school. This means we have adopted a set of school wide expectations that define behavior expectations in and around our school campus and classrooms. Being a STAR student means being Safe, Trustworthy, Actively Engaged, and Respectful. When students are caught exhibiting one of these expectations, they earn STAR tickets which can be redeemed for various rewards.
We need your help stocking our STAR store with various items for our Pre-K through 6th graders. Order from our Amazon and Oriental Trading Wishlist with the link below to donate items or drop off other items in our front office for Alicia Lenderman

Fortify FL
The FortifyFL app is a suspicious activity reporting tool that allows anyone to instantly relay information to law enforcement and school officials. Students, staff, families, and members of the community can use the app to report school safety concerns anonymously and easily.
Speak Out
The SpeakOut Hotline (800) 423-TIPS is designed to help you anonymously report any threatening behavior or situation that endangers you, your friends, family, community, or your school campus. Reporting isn't "snitching,” reporting is when you need to keep yourself or someone you know safe from threats, harmful behaviors, or dangerous situations. By guaranteeing a caller's anonymity, SpeakOut allows the caller to give information without the fear of retribution.
