Message from Ms. Ramos and Mr. Day
Dear Winand Families,
We hope this message finds you well. As we welcome the month of March, it’s hard to believe how quickly this school year has flown. With just a few months left, we are excited for all that is still to come!
This is a time of reflection, growth, and preparation as we head into the final stretch. Our students have made incredible progress, and we’re eager to finish the year strong. We encourage you to continue supporting your child’s learning and well-being during these final months to help them end the year on a high note.
If you have any questions don’t hesitate to reach out. Thank you for your ongoing support!

March 16-22, 2025 is National Poison Prevention Week!
Young children account for a significant number of poisonings reported to poison centers each year. In a majority of these cases, the poisoning could have been prevented. To highlight National Poison Prevention Week, the Maryland Poison Center is making a variety of information and resources available to promote poison safety. Additional materials are available related to home and medicine safety*. You can also find information at www.mdpoison.com. Most poisonings are unintentional and preventable. The activities below are designed to make learning about poison prevention fun for children.
