Keansburg High School
Week of 6/15 - 6/21
Opening Comments
Last week our Booster Club hosted the annual Athletic Awards at Jaques. This was a nice evening event highlighting some great individual and team accomplishments from the athletic fields and courts this school year. Now the next time we will have our Seniors together will be to walk across the stage at graduation.
We head into this week with three one session days. Monday and Tuesday are the last Final Exam days scheduled and Wednesday is the last day of the school year. Closing out this short week, the year, and ultimately the Senior Class of 2024's Titan career will be our Graduation Ceremony Wednesday evening!
As we wrap up another school year, I want to take a moment to thank our entire school community—students, families, faculty, and staff—for making this year a success. I hope everyone finds time this summer to relax, recharge, and enjoy time with family and friends. Stay safe, take care of yourselves, and we look forward to seeing you back in the fall for another great year.
Congratulations ahead of time to all of our Graduating Seniors! Go Titans!
Wishing all of the Fathers and Father figures a very happy Father's Day!
Finals this week
If there is a students who missed a Final Exam on Thursday or Friday please see your teacher to makeup the exam after school on Monday or Tuesday.
KHS Graduation Ceremony
The class of 2025 Graduation ceremony is set for the evening of Wednesday, June 18th at 6:00pm. We are hoping for good weather so that the event can be held on our football field. Students need to be in school on time the day of Graduation to attend practice. At the end of practice students will be handed their allotted graduation tickets.
Students will receive 6 graduation tickets for friends and family. If the ceremony is outside these tickets will give you access to our bleachers. Should weather move the ceremony inside only individuals with tickets will be granted entry.
I appreciate you understanding that additional tickets cannot be provided to students.
Students return to school by 5:00 PM
wearing their Cap & Gown.
Graduation begins promptly at 6:00PM
Senior Walk
A highlight of the last day of school the past number of years is the Senior Graduate Walk. On Tuesday the class of 2025 will walk the halls of our Pre-K and Elementary School. This exciting moment is not only a chance for the graduates to see some of those wonderful teachers they had at the start of their HS career. It is also an awe inspiring and motivational moment in the eyes of all of the young Titans who look up to the High School Students.

Each student will be checked off as returning their materials. If you have earned an exemption from a final and are completed early please see Ms. Godkin in the technology office to turn in your computer early.
Locker Clean out - Everything must go!
We will have locker clean out on Monday and Tuesday. Please take a moment before homeroom to clean out everything in your lockers before leaving for the summer. Once your locker is clean, close and lock your locker.
Transition Day
Wednesday we welcomed in the class of 2029. The current 8th grade students were introduced to staff members and sat through a presentation about what to expect as they begin their KHS Titan career. Special thanks to all of our Upper Class students who led breakout groups reviewing important information with students. They also answered questions and were a friendly face to lead students on a tour of the building. As we get ready to send our Seniors off it was nice to see another great class get ready to take to our hallways.
