Principal's Message
Eagle Families,
I don't need a four leaf clover to know that I am so lucky to be part of this amazing school community! Last month, we held a sweetheart dance at Gardner Middle School. A huge shoutout to our PTA for all their hard work coordinating, setting up and cleaning up this event. It was so much fun and we were glad to see so many students and families participate.
Today we celebrated Read Across America. It was a joy to see our students reading to themselves and others and being read to today. We had many parent, staff and district personnel that took time out of their day to come read to our students and we were so grateful. The kids loved it! Check out our Instagram for pics. If you don't follow us you may want to do so not only to see fun pics but also for information and reminders about upcoming events.
Our Instagram handle is @temecula_luiseno_eagles
Next week we are very excited to host our annual Camp Read-a-lot. Our literacy specialist Mrs. Albertoni has been working very hard to plan fun and engaging opportunties for our TK-3rd grade students to build skills and have fun with literacy! If you have a primary grade student we highly encourage you to register for this event and attend.
As you can see, we work very hard to provide fun and engaging lessons, activities and ways to connect to school so as to promote student involvement and ultimately student success. We appreciate support from home in whatever form you are able to provide it: time helping your child with homework, encouraging their perseverance, and ensuring their positive attendance (being to school consistently and on time unless they are sick). Additionally, if you are able to support our fundraisers we need and appreciate it so we can continue to provide all the wonderful programs our eagles love and deserve. On this note, PTA has extended our Read-a-thon fundraiser through the weekend if you haven't yet donated and are able and willing to do so. Here is the link
Lastly, we know you are busy but please take some time to scroll through the rest of this newsletter. There is important information pertaining to safety, upcoming events and even job opportunities!
Thank you as always for your support!
Sincerely,
Lani Russi
Principal, TLES

TVUSD Educational Partner Surveys
TVUSD is committed to involving our educational partners (students, parents, staff, and community members) in planning for future years. There are two separate survey links to complete this year, and both are available in Spanish. The surveys are anonymous and will be a valuable source of information as we continue to develop and update student-centered instructional practices and fiscal budgets. District and staff leaders will have access to aggregate data from all staff/parents. Please take a moment to provide your feedback. Both surveys will be available through Friday, March 21st. We thank you in advance for your time. *Each survey should take less than 5 minutes to complete.*
2025-26 TK/Kinder Enrollment Dates
