Gator Gazette 🐊
A Message From Your Principal
Dear Glenwood Parents
Glenwood is fortunate to have all students eligible daily for a free breakfast and lunch.
Breakfast is served from 8:00 to 8:20 daily. For students who eat breakfast at home or arrive after 8:20, their breakfast is available to them at their first recess.
There are times when students have their breakfast before school starts and then go back at the morning recess and get a 2nd breakfast. Under the federal regulations, students may only have one breakfast.
Please tell your student(s) that they are only allowed to have one breakfast. If your student(s) are growing fast and are always hungry, an option would be to have them eat breakfast at home and then they can eat again a breakfast during the first recess.
If you have any questions, please contact the school.
Please note that Friday, November 22 is a regular school day and not an early dismissal day.
Helpful Hint: As schedules and routines are often adjusted during time off. Having your student(s) return to their regular bedtime and wakeup time routine for the Saturday and Sunday before they return will help make the Monday back easier for them and for you
The Glenwood Faculty & Staff wish all Gator families a Happy and Healthy Fall Break.

Up to Five Key Takeaways...
Family participation and engagement is a key priority of the Conejo Valley Unified School District. Our seven Advisory Councils and Committees meet regularly for vibrant discussions, informative presentations, relationship-building activities and more. These meetings are open to all members of our CVUSD community to attend. However, we understand that attending meetings in-person is not always possible. Click HERE to stay informed on updates and actions from each Advisory Council and Committee, with "Up to Five Key Takeaways" from each meeting.
