Bulldog Blast

Happy Saturday BWE Families,

Puppy Camp and Blacklight Bash were A-MAY-ZING!! It was so nice to meet and greet so many sweet little faces yesterday afternoon. Immediately after Puppy Camp we held our first Back-to-School Blacklight Bash. It was a glowing good time! We had a blast welcoming our first through fourth graders back to school in such a fun, laid back way. Below is a bit more information as we prepare to return back to school. A first day edition of the blast will come on Tuesday.

Elementary school start times for our district have changed.

In effort to decrease the traffic flow inside and outside of the building, we ask that you arrive for the first day of school using the staggered times below.

Are you interested in districtwide processes and decisions? Would you like to participate on this district level committee, as a representative for the Grand Oaks Community? If so, click this "Get Involved" link to apply.

One parent representative from our Grand Oaks feeder will serve on the DLPDMC. The deadline for DLPDMC submission is August 15th. The names of all the nominees will be combined for a drawing to select the parent representative for the vacancy in our feeder.

Summer break is over, but Texas summer heat is not. Below are our district's excessive heat guidelines, that govern our participation in outdoor activities, during high temperatures.

Students arriving after 7:55 a.m. are marked tardy.

Early check-out ends @ 2:30 p.m.

All transportation changes should be emailed to birnhamwoods@conroeisd.net.

Changes must be received by 2 p.m.
