The Week Gone By:
Our students continue to grow and learn each day, and we love helping them along in their progress and understandings. This is just another friendly reminder to please be mindful to continue to support their success by having them in school on time, and ready to go! We're open at 8:20 am with breakfast, and kickstart our day with an all school morning meeting from 8:50 am- 9:00 am, then our classes begin promptly at 9am. Let's continue to work together to give them a great start to their school day:-)
Thank you to Project GRAD RISE team for their awesome Kiwi Kits with the circuit unicorn key chain! The project was challenging and fun, and we appreciate your support in making our science content areas come to life! This upcoming week, please join us for the long awaited Family Night with a Post Secondary talk with Rylee and Selina. All events begin at 5:30 pm on Tuesday 01/16. We hope to see you there!
Coaches Johnny Standifer and Elizabeth Standifer have begun their NYO practice times on every Tuesday and Thursday from 4:15 pm- 5:30 pm. Stop by to watch students practice, and if you have any questions, please contact the coaching staff.
This week our kiddos were so excited to put their boots and skis on to enjoy cross country skiing around the village. Thank you to Tyonek Native Corporation and Skiku for mentoring our students into this new winter sport that is healthy and fun! We had been practicing daily, and the kiddos are building their stamina and sport! Keep it up, kiddos!
