Puede traducir nuestro boletín a cualquier idioma en tres sencillos pasos:

1. Cuando reciba el boletín escolar en su bandeja de entrada, abra el correo electrónico y haga clic en el título del boletín para abrirlo en Smore.

2. Una vez en Smore, seleccione la palabra ' Translate' en el menú superior. Haga clic en ' Traducir '.

3. A continuación, seleccione su idioma preferido en el menú desplegable y el boletín se traducirá automáticamente al idioma que elija.

Academic Focus Day - October 16th

Two years ago, we implemented a new quarterly "checkpoint" to help further support students academically with the creation of an Academic Focus Day. So, again this year, we have designated an Academic Focus Day for GPS students on Wednesday, October 16th.

Full Day PreK & Elementary

School will release at 11:30am

Gering Middle School

Any student failing 1 or more classes will be required to report to school to receive the extra support and/or intervention needed to improve.
Students will be notified on Tuesday, October 15th if they need to attend.
For reference, the grading cutoff date to determine if a student needs to attend is Monday, October 14th at 8am.

Gering High School

Any student who is chronically absent (10 or more days for the semester), or students who have an "F" in a course, or are missing 5 or more assignments will be required to report to school to receive the extra support and/or intervention needed to improve.
Students will be notified on Tuesday, October 15th if they need to attend.
For reference, the grading cutoff date to determine if a student needs to attend is Monday, October 14th at Noon.

Parent-Teacher Conferences

The end of the first quarter is upon us! Mark your calendars for parent-teacher conferences. All conferences will be held in-person.

Several schools are pre-scheduling conferences in an effort to accommodate wait times and due to the positive feedback we've received. Scheduling links will all be live within the week.

*Please note that GHS students will only receive a report card at the end of each semester, however parents can evaluate progress on Infinite Campus.*

ONLY ELEMENTARY STUDENTS have a teacher name attached in their profile. If you are unsure of teacher name spelling OR if your child attends GMS or GHS, select the "I don't know the teacher's last name" box directly below that line.
