PSAT/SAT Day and Senior Competencies: April 9, 2025
On April 9th, all students will be testing. Grades 9 and 10 will be taking the PSAT, Grade 11 will be taking the SAT, and Grade 12 will be taking their Senior Competencies and working on their Capstone Projects. All students are required to attend school on this day and will have their attendance counted against them if they do not. There will be late bus runs home at 11:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., and 2:00 p.m. depending on when you are done testing. All buses will run on their regular bus routes during the morning.
Seniors will meet in the cafeteria to continue their work on several graduation requirements. Students will be working on their capstone project, and be pulled to take their math, reading and science competency assessments. Those required to take these assessments have not met bench mark on either/or of the English SAT, Math SAT or NGSS. Students have been notified by their counselor via email to which subject(s) they need to take. Students should bring a charged device with them to school this day. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Mrs. Trombino at strombino@blmfld.org
We encourage all of our students taking the PSAT or SAT to get a good nights sleep, eat a healthy breakfast, and to come prepared to test. Students room assignments will be posted in the main lobby.
