eCampus Academy Update
Watertown Unified School District | December 2023
A Note From Principal Bull π
As we approach the end of the school year, I want to take a moment to express my deepest appreciation and gratitude for entrusting us with your child's education. It has been a year filled with challenges and triumphs, and we are immensely proud of the progress and growth each student has made.
Your partnership and support have been invaluable, especially during these important years of your childβs growth. We are grateful for your trust, patience, and understanding as we navigated through a variety of learning experiences. Together, we have created a nurturing and enriching environment for our young scholars to thrive.
As we close this chapter and look towards the future, I encourage you to take this opportunity to celebrate the successes of the year. Reflect on the challenges faced and the lessons learned, and consider any opportunities for change and improvement. Set goals for the summer and beyond, keeping in mind the growth and development of your child.
We are excited to continue this journey with you and look forward to another successful school year ahead.
Thank you once again for your unwavering support and partnership.

Through state-of-the-art live-streaming technology, students had the unique opportunity to observe sharks in real-time as they were gliding through the waters of their habitat. Students were able to witness the electrifying spectacle of a shark feeding session!

Attention All eCampus Juniors
The Watertown Unified School District is participating in a new state program called Direct Admit Wisconsin. Direct Admit Wisconsin is designed to provide a place for all Wisconsin high school students to access a world-class public education by proactively offering them admission to the Universities of Wisconsin.
Based on a review of your studentβs 11th grade transcript (grade point average, math coursework, progression towards graduation), you and your student will receive an email in July indicating which UWs are providing them direct admission, and the next steps they are to take in order to learn more about enrolling within the Universities of Wisconsin. More information will be presented in regards to Direct Admit Wisconsin on May 3, 2024 via Skyward.
There are 10 UWs participating in Direct Admit Wisconsin for Fall 2025. They are UW-Green Bay, UW-Milwaukee, UW-Oshkosh, UW-Parkside, UW-Platteville, UW-River Falls, UW-Stevens Point, UW-Stout, UW-Superior and UW-Whitewater. Career and Accelerated Degree Pathways
Attention high school-aged eCampus students and families! Did you know that eCampus Academy offers a Career and Accelerated Degree Pathways Program? Students in Grades 10-12 can pursue a Technical Diploma or Associate Degree while enrolled in high school in one of 10 high-demand career areas. These online courses, in cooperation with Wisconsin technical colleges, will also count as high school credit in eCampus. Students in Grades 9-12 who plan to attend a four-year institution may complete up to 30 transferable college credits, putting them on a path to potentially graduate with a Bachelor's degree in three years from a University of Wisconsin System School.
The eCampus Academy Pathways Program saves students time and money while accessing high quality, future-ready learning experiences and professional programs. We're really excited about this opportunity for students.
Helpful tips and reminders for accessing Schools PLP
Since we continue to have new families each month, we'll continue to share videos and information that might be useful at anytime throughout the year. Returning students are familiar with the SchoolsPLP learning platform, but we encourage everyone to watch these short videos created by our own lead teacher, Tracy Poches, as a refresher. Who knows, you might learn something new.

Understanding SchoolsPLP Overview
Navigating an online course in SchoolsPLP
Parents are able to login to SchoolsPLP to check grades and see if their student is on pace. The short video below will show you how to do this. You will need your student's ID and school password to login. If you need login information, please call or email Keisha Logan.
We Want to Hear From You!
In our ongoing effort to assess our efforts as a school, we're offering our families an opportunity to share their feedback so that we may reflect on what's working and on those areas where we can grow and learn in eCampus. If you would, please take a moment to complete the brief feedback questionnaire that's linked below. We definitely value your input as partners in the teaching and learning of our eCampus students! Thank you!
