Christmas Clearing House
For more than 50 years, The Rotary Club of Woodstock has been providing food baskets, toys and books a Saturday prior to the Christmas holiday to families located within District 200.
In the first year, 200 families in the community were served. With the growth of the community coupled with an increase in family hardships, The Rotary Club of Woodstock is now serving approximately 1,100 families & 2,000 children residing in the Woodstock and Wonder Lake areas each year.
And our community responds to this recurring need during the holiday season. In a matter of hours, hundreds of volunteers average 7 deliveries per minute showing Woodstock Cares!
Please donate at Mary Endres. Our Collection box is located at the entrance to our building.
Spiritwear Sale
Mary Endres is having a Spirtwear Sale! There are new designs, and exciting new product lines!

Cold Weather
Unfortunately the cold weather is upon us. Please be sure your child has everything they need to stay warm when the go outside for PE, snack breaks and recess. This means a coat, hat, gloves and when the snow begins to fall, snow pants and boots.
Whenever possible, recess will be held outside. Indoor recess will be held during inclement weather (rain, harsh snowstorm, or when the wind chill is at or below 5 degrees).
Candy Grams
Mary Endres PTO is selling Candy Grams!
Flyers will be coming home with your student this week. You can fill out the candy gram tags and send them in with either cash or check, or you can scan the QR code on the flyer and order and pay for them online. The first group will be sent out this Friday, December 6th.
Dismissal Time and Arrival Too!
As our school year is amping up so are our after school clubs. Many days we have a number of after school activities/clubs that will be dismissing at or near the same time. We ask that our families picking up their students follow a few procedures to ensure the safety of our Mary Endres kiddos and staff.
1. If you need to come into the building after school, please park your car in a spot and then enter the building. Do not leave your car parked along the sidewalk. This can cause difficulties when families arrive to pick up their students from their after school activity.
2. Please do not arrive too early to pick up your student from their after school activity. If you are picking up your student at 2:50/3:00 from their activity, please either do not arrive until those times, or park in a spot and wait until our Everyone Reads kiddos complete their 2:40 pm (M-Th) pick up.
3. If you are entering the school, please cross at the crosswalk. Do not cross the parking lot anywhere else.
4. Please be kind and courteous to other families and our teachers. We are all trying to make sure our kiddos and families are safe.
5. Drop off begins at 7:00AM. You may have noticed our Safety Patrol students being dropped off at the same time, and forming a second line. This arrival time for Safety Patrol only students is now 6:55 to help the flow of traffic in the mornings. These students should wear their safety vests when they arrive and be dropped off at the crosswalk. Please be mindful of all car and foot traffic in mornings and afternoons as well. It's a busy lot and we want to look out for each other's safety.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact the office (815) 337-8177.
Lost and Found
Our Lost and Found table grows by the day!
If your child is missing anything, sweatshirts, waterbottles, lunch containers, shoes or anything else, please have them check the Lost and Found table outside the office. If you would like to stop by please do so during office hours of 7 am - 3:30 pm.
