Counselor's Corner-Ms. Brodie
Hello Primary Families!
I can't believe it is already December! What an amazing semester we've had so far! During my counseling lessons, I have spent the last few weeks focusing on feelings and learning about the Zones of Regulation. We often feel many feelings at once and it is hard to self-regulate and find coping strategies to calm our bodies and mind. Zones of regulation is a great tool to help children learn how to identify their emotions and find the coping strategy that works best for them! You can find more information here. :) Zones of Regulation
With the holidays quickly approaching, we know this joyous time can also be a stressful one. If your family is in need of extra resources, please reach out to myself, or our Social Worker, Mrs. Young. We are fortunate to have some opportunities to help families this holiday season!
Thank you for all that you do and Happy Holidays!

Memorial Bench for Mrs. Roberta Eudey
Roberta Eudey was a beloved member of our special education team who passed away this fall. She was an incredible advocate for our students and a vital part of our school community, touching the lives of so many with their kindness and dedication. To honor Roberta’s memory, we are raising funds to place a memorial bench on the Primary campus at the inclusive playground. This bench will serve as a lasting tribute to her work and the positive impact she had on our students, staff, and families. If you’d like to contribute, follow this QR code. You will have to sign in, select make a donation, select the Primary School, click the initiative drop down menu, and click "Roberta Eudey Memorial". No amount is too small, and your support will mean so much as we come together to remember Roberta.
