The FHS Homecoming Parade is taking place on October 5th at 10 am! Please see below for more information and a QR code to enter a float or group into the event! All floats and groups need to be entered into the parade Google Form (QR code below) by this FRIDAY!

The Falcon Zone Community Closet & Pantry will not be open this week. We will open again on October 10th!

Falcon High is partnering with our Falcon Community to help our Senior Class of 2025 to Earn their WINGS. Our goal is to Empower our Seniors to become stronger leaders not only at Falcon High School, but throughout the Falcon Zone. Ensuring that our students and graduates develop essential skills with Wisdom, Integrity, Networking, Grit, and Self-Confidence will propel them into their future. And, it is our hope to have all of our student leaders visit our elementary schools and Falcon Middle to help promote and teach their peers various lessons to build upon their WINGS as well. The more that our entire Falcon Community promotes the ideal of students earning their WINGS with these essential skills, the greater impact we will see on learning, motivation, and the respect shown to all.

This past Wednesday, FHS conducted our brand new, first annual, Senior Class Retreat. Over 160 of our Seniors travelled to the United States Olympic and Paralympic Museum to learn together, see the museum exhibits, and enjoy a BBQ as a Senior class. We are grateful for former D49 administrator, Falcon Zone parent, and community member Bob Felice for providing our motivational keynote that will continue to build throughout this school year. He also joined a leadership group of FHS students from all four grade levels last Friday to help further enhance our Falcon Nation culture.

This is another great example of how all of us in the Falcon Zone can continue to work together and prepare our students and graduates to lead a stronger Falcon Community together!

Mr. Healy has a gift for empowering teachers with the tools and strategies needed for success, all while keeping the well-being and growth of students at the forefront. His positivity, energy, and willingness to go the extra mile sets a shining example for everyone around him!

Mrs. Carlson has been an incredible support for the Wellness Committee. Her dedication to promoting a healthy and balanced environment for students and staff has made a noticeable difference. By encouraging school well-being, she's fostered a positive, energized community that truly benefits everyone.

Mrs. Engelhart's personalized classroom truly meets the needs of each student. Her thoughtful approach to teaching ensures that every learner is supported, engaged, and able to thrive. The attention she gives to individual strengths and challenges makes a significant impact, and her commitment to student success is inspiring.

Mrs. Goin is a dedicated math teacher who consistently jumps in to fill academic gaps wherever needed. Her proactive approach ensures that students receive the targeted support they need to succeed. She has collaborated positively with the math department to help enhance what FHS can do to support learning in math.

Mrs. Reagan has jumped in with both feet to support her students and staff! From day one, she's shown incredible dedication, offering guidance and care that has already made a positive difference in her school community. Her enthusiasm, compassion, and willingness to help in any way possible are truly appreciated.

Mrs. Fothergill is an outstanding kindergarten teacher who truly loves her students. Her genuine care and passion for teaching shine through in everything she does, creating a nurturing and joyful learning environment. The connections she builds with her students make them feel valued and supported, and her commitment to their growth and happiness is evident every day.

Mrs. Balk, instructional coach, provides unwavering support to teachers and works to dig into data to drive student success. Her insightful guidance and data-driven strategies empower teachers to grow and adapt, all while keeping student achievement and coaching at the forefront. She can be found supporting the school in just about any and every way so that teachers, staff, and students can all be successful.

Mr. Smoote is an exceptional special education teacher who truly supports students and ensures they get exactly what they need to succeed. His dedication to individualized learning and student growth makes a meaningful difference. His patience, compassion, and expertise create a supportive environment where every student can thrive and teachers feel supported.

In the Falcon Zone we pride ourselves on having the most incredible staff! We want to give our community a chance to recognize those people that make a difference in our schools and for our students every day!
