TIMA 1st grader, Phin Michael, who was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia in 2022. Phin relapsed in Feb. 2024 and many of our wonderful families have been asking for ways to help! Due to Phin's treatments in both Savannah and Atlanta, gift cards are a great way to help if you'd like to contribute.

For the 2023 - 24 school year we have had so many people contribute to the greater good of our school community. Whether sweeping the cafeteria, supporting a teacher in the classroom, coaching our students, our volunteers have elevated our ability to accomplish our mission of nurturing a culture of learning and innovation. Please take a moment to recognize these individuals by submitting their name via the form linked below so we can recognize their contributions. The form is due May 1, 2024.

Tybee Island YMCA will provide an enrichment Health and Wellness program for TIMA students. Children will follow a curriculum that will provide knowledge to develop their well being. The program operates in the cafeteria at TIMA, immediately after school.

Ages: 5 - 12 yrs old- limited space available Fees: Y Member/$55 per week or Potential members /$75 per week (a one time registration fee of $45 for everyone)

TIMA offers athletics for students in grades 6,7 & 8. All students wishing to participate in evaluations, practices and games MUST have a current physical on file with Athletic Director, Noel Ingram. Students must also meet the athletic eligibility requirements to participate. Physical packets and eligibility guidelines can be found in the folder linked below. URGENT- Junior Guards USA has just opened up THREE additional slots for the summer session. One of Chatham County’s fastest growing and unique programs, Junior Guards offers young athletes and students an opportunity to workout alongside Coast Guard professionals including Rescue Swimmers. All Junior Guards will have an opportunity to become CPR/FA certified as well as firearm safety course. This fully volunteer program is affordable, challenging and built by both Coast Guard and coaching professionals. Two workouts each week, one on the beach on Tybee and one at Coast Guard station Tybee with current members of the Coast Guard, your child will learn functional movements, strength and conditioning, boat crew skills, and have custom workouts week by week alongside a crew that is pouring into their character development.
