Remote learning will take place for the first two weeks of school beginning Monday, August 31. Our class will meet via Google Meet at the link below. This link is also available on our Google Classroom. Students should log on with their video but mute their microphones until called upon. If there are any issues logging on, please send me an email at mbeaudry@lakefentonschools.org.

We will begin class at 9:15 a.m. Students will need to sit in a quiet spot, free from distractions with a notebook and pencil. We will have live learning from 9:15 a.m. - 11:15 a.m. with breaks for a snack, restroom and movement. In the afternoon, we will be live from 12:15 p.m.- 1:40 p.m. with breaks.

Class will begin each day at 9:15 a.m. with a quick morning meeting. I expect there may be some glitches along the way so I appreciate your patience and flexibility as we get things going!

Our first days will be a "soft opening," which means we'll be spending time learning routines, becoming familiar with online platforms, getting to know one another, and establishing classroom culture. I anticipate getting into more academics during our second week together.

Students may log onto their Google Classroom by accessing the app on their Chromebook or by visiting www.classroom.google.com. Our 4th Grade Homeroom has already been added for your student. I will be utilizing Scholastic Book Orders this year. Now more than ever, it is so important for your child to have books at home. Plus, our class gets FREE books for the classroom with every order!

(If your child plans to continue with Remote Learning, you'll be able to pick up your books from the office after they arrive.) Thank you for encouraging the love of reading!
