Please be sure to inform your child’s teacher on how they will be getting to and from school. The first bell will ring at 8:35 and that is when students are allowed into the building. Supervision outside starts at 8:30 a.m. so please do NOT drop your child off earlier than 8:30 for safety reasons. Anytime you need to change the way your child will be getting home from school, please be sure to send a note home in your child’s backpack in order to inform the teacher.
Bus Procedures: Buses pull into the large lot and unload/load students there. Students will enter and exit the building through door 6 (by the swings). Bus colors have changed this school year due to the boundary change. Please make sure your student knows their route number, not just their bus color from last school year. We need to ensure students are getting on the correct buses. Thank you for your help with this change.
Walker Procedures: Walkers are classified as any parent/student who is walking up to the building to drop off and/or pick up their child. Walkers will be dropped off in the morning at door 14. However, due to safety concerns during dismissal, we have changed procedures for walkers during dismissal. Walkers will be dismissed from the building out the back of the building by door 7, which is close to the large playground equipment. If you are parking your car and walking to the building, please use Stonewood Circle to park your car and walk up the sidewalk to the blacktop area in the back of the building.
Car Rider Procedures: Car drop off happens in the small parking lot. Only right turns are allowed into the lot during arrival and dismissal. Please stay in your car and pull all the way forward when directed by the supervisors. Please do not park in the small lot to walk your child up to the building.
