Dear TUFSD Families and Staff,
I hope everyone enjoyed a restful long weekend. It's hard to believe that we're already halfway through October. Our district has been bustling with a variety of exciting fall activities, and it’s wonderful to see our students actively engaging in these experiences while learning and having fun.
I would also like to take a moment to extend my heartfelt thanks to our dedicated Board members for their leadership and unwavering support. Their commitment to our district is truly invaluable. They devote countless hours to ensuring that we provide the best possible learning environment for our students, and their efforts help shape a thriving educational community. I’m deeply grateful for everything that they do.
Sincerely,
Dr. Raymond Sanchez

Postponed: Horsemen vs Hunger Walkathon
📢 Important Update regarding the Horsemen vs Harvest upcoming Walkathon. To ensure the best experience for everyone involved, we have made the decision to postpone the event until spring. While we’re disappointed to delay our walk, we believe this will give us the opportunity to have an even more engaging and enjoyable experience for all.
In the meantime, we encourage you to stay connected with us! We’ll be sharing tips on how to stay active in our effort, and sneak peeks of what’s to come. We want to keep the excitement alive and ensure you’re just as invested as we are! Thank you for your understanding and continued support. We can’t wait to walk alongside you when spring arrives! Stay tuned for the new date and more updates.
Traffic Update
I want to thank our parents/guardians and staff for their patience as we address some of the transportation issues. However, I do want us to be mindful that during the month of October our community is very busy. We may experience an increase in traffic over the course of this month that could impact our bus routes. Additionally, active construction throughout the day in both villages have also impacted bus routes.
