• A related university degree (or degree in progress)

• Previous professional experience or internship in NGOs, consulting, entrepreneurship, programme management and creative industries or related fields are preferred but not required.

Selected candidates will be working closely with the Projects Team with its day to day activities relating to the design and delivery of projects and programmes . Under the guidance and overall supervision of the Lead for Impact Projects, you will be expected to carry out the following core responsibilities:

Project Management

• Assist in the management of the project life cycle of multiple events.
  
• Assist in the design, conceptualisation and planning of current and future events and community projects
  
• Producing detailed proposals for events (e.g. timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing and budgets);
  
• Project reporting
  

Product Development

• Support with the ideation and development of new products and services.
  
• Support the Project Team with Business Development activities.

Account Management

• Drafting proposals for potential clients
  
• Assist with communication with clients to ascertain their precise event requirements
  
• Research
  
• researching markets to identify opportunities for events;
  

The above outlines the broad scope of work and roles may be assigned based on the when the internship commences and the life cycle of the project.
