May 2024
The LISD RAPPort
LISD Families,
It feels like just last week I visited campuses across the district for the first day of school as we kicked off the 23-24 school year, and now we are entering the last week of school! It has been an eventful year of accomplishments, celebrations, and successes as we came together as ONE LISD community to BE THE ONE who engages and inspires learners and leaders.
This month's newsletter is full of important information, including several updates from the May 13 board meeting, so I encourage you to keep reading and watch my video message below to hear important updates in several areas of the district. We have also created a webpage related to budget reductions across the district that you can visit HERE.
I am grateful you choose LISD for your children and I hope you all have a wonderful summer break!
Dr. Lori Rapp, Ed.D.
Superintendent of Schools
