Where the Champion Spirit in a Wildcat Begins
To our Llano Kitten Families...The month of May brings us to the end of the year. This year has brought a variety of learning experiences, growth, and many new friends. Our students have accomplished many academic achievements and learning milestones this year. Each month opened a new chapter in our year of learning and it contributed a successful year at Llano.
I want to express my heartfelt appreciation for your support, commitment, and trust you have given us throughout this school year. Continue to be involved in your child’s education as they journey through each grade level. It is invaluable to their love of learning and their future success in school.
As we say goodbye to our 2023-24 school year, I want to say thank you to all of our students for all of their hard work throughout the year! Have a restful and joyous summer break!!

TESTING TIPS FOR PARENTS
- PLEASE make sure your child comes to school during the testing window. Students do much better when they test with their own class. Make-ups are scheduled but if your child is not sick, please make sure they are in school the first 2 weeks in May.
- Make sure your child gets plenty of rest each night.
- Make sure your child gets up in plenty of time so he/she won't feel rushed.
- Encourage them to simply do their best.

KINDERGARTEN SCIENCE HABITATS
Llano Kindergarten has finished their big science unit over habitats. They have focused on the weather, plants, and animals in the habitats Woodlands, Rainforest, Ocean, Desert, and Polar. Another factor they have studied in each habitat is a natural and man-made disaster than has occurred. To show their knowledge of these habitats classes created life size examples of each habitat and had children speaking to show what they learned. Pictured above with LMS Superintendent, Mrs. Pam Quinones are: Liam Faris, Sloan LaCount, Tyson Broome, and Emmaly Lovelace with their kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Roman, The students presented information on the ocean habitat.
