Congratulations to the Hawk XC team with the Varsity Girls finishing 1st with 33 points in their race versus 7 other XC teams from Katy Taylor, Katy Tompkins, Cypresses- Fair, Springs & Ridge, Jersey Village and Langham Creek with 4 runners earning medals with freshman Cassie Rivera getting 2nd overall, Konner Faust-4th, Marianna Evans-7th and Ava Saad- 8th and Miranda Viegra rounding up the 5 scoring runners finishing 12th. Taylor Adamek- 18th and Mya Siele- 28th finished out the Varsity 7. The Varsity Boys finished 5th with Kevin Castruita finishing 1st overall and Antonio Sanchez coming in 7th to medal for the Hawks. Also running were Ian Brents- 31st, Fausto Carrizales and Aydin Amaya- 43rd and 44th respectively. Also running were Caleb Hemphill and Sebastian De Lara Serna for the Hawks. Next Cross Country meet will be at the Tenroc Ranch in Salado, Texas on September 17. Congratulations Hawks!
