Hello Broncos! The month of February is going to be filled with exciting and important dates for our students! At the beginning of this month, the counseling department started presenting enrollment information to all our students and incoming 9th graders. Enrollment week will start February 10th and run until February 14th. Please refer to our enrollment website throughout the process.
Students must have their course requests entered in Power School by February 14th. This is also when all applications are due for Career Centers and Early College Program. The final step to enrollment is signing up and attending Spring Enrollment Conferences (SEC). Families will have the choice to attend SEC's in person at LSN on Tuesday February 25th or virtually on Thursday, February 27th. During SEC's, the student, parent, and mentor all sit down together and make sure the courses in Power School are accurate and questions are answered.
Finally, we wanted to give a shout out to our Career Navigator, Sara McGurk. She played an essential role in our Plan Your Future Day on January 29th. Below are all of the presenters who attended that day. Students had the option to attend five sessions and hear from the speakers. We received positive feedback from our students and thank Mrs. McGurk for all of her hard work for that day!
