Chromebook Distribution: change for 2nd grade
Updates have been made to the district's 1:1 technology plan, resulting in third grade being the year for individual Chromebook assignments. Therefore, our upcoming second-grade students will not be issued individual Chromebooks this year. Rest assured, students will continue to have access to the technology needed for learning activities and digital literacy during the school day.
S.T.E.P. Parent Classes
The county is now offering two choices of free parenting courses this fall, Systematic Training for Effective Parenting (S.T.E.P.) and Parenting the Love and Logic Way. S.T.E.P. will be presented virtually; while Love and Logic will be held in person. Please share the attached flyer with your families in your newsletters and at your beginning-of-the-year events.
See the attached flyer or contact sherrod.maria@fcboe.org for questions.
