A Message from the Principal
Good afternoon,
As we approach the end of the school year and weather gets warmer, we begin to see an increase in tardies and absences. Please remember that regular attendance at school is of utmost importance in order to maintain high levels of rigor, knowledge, and preparation for final exams and beyond. Please be sure to review Grosse Pointe North's attendance policies that are listed below.
Have a wonderful weekend,

Decision Day for the Class of 2025 is THURSDAY May 1st - SAVE THE DATE!!!
Decision Day is an optional student event that takes place during the school day on May 1st! The counseling team honors all decisions that students are committing to for next year: military, college, skilled trades, and employment. There is so much to be proud of, and we share in students’ happiness with these big decisions. On May 1st, Seniors come to school dressed to represent their plans for after high school. We are excited to see each student walk the red carpet and put their picture on the showcase. All future plans are represented on the bulletin board! Counselors will be at the showcase from 7:50-3:15. Students can come down (1) before or after school, (2) during lunch, (3) during tutorial, or (4) out of class ONLY with your teacher’s permission. There will be a raffle each hour as well as a scene set up for pictures. Write a thank you note to the teacher or staff member that made an impact or that wrote you a letter of recommendation.
We can’t wait to celebrate each and every one of the Class of 2025!

Anie went to Monteith, Parcells, and graduated from GPN. Anie played volleyball her freshman and sophomore year. She was extremely athletic, smart, and charismatic. Unfortunately, Anie was diagnosed with a rare disease in high school but despite that she always kept her positivity, charm, and drive.Anie was also a phenomenal trumpet player and in the symphony band and orchestra. After graduation, she moved to Traverse City, MI and was the Executive Chef at the Grand Traverse Resort's Aerie Restaurant. She also worked in Grosse Pointe at the Bronze Door.
