Welcome Back!
We hope everyone had an enjoyable break. We've had an incredibly busy winter at MCHS and we look forward to all the things this spring has to offer! As we quickly approach the end of the school year, we want to remind everyone of the importance of attending class on a regular basis. For some of our students these next few months will determine their graduation status and attendance will play a crucial role. We have lots of fun activities, themes, and extra-curricular events ahead of us and we encourage everyone to get involved! We hope you had the time to do whatever is relaxing for you over the break and that you feel recharged and ready to tackle the end of the school year!
Education Week!
We had a great time during Education Week! The Math and Science Problem of the Day, WORDLE MCHS, Teachers' Favourite Book Contest, Darting Outdoors, and our Wellness Activities were big hits! It was awesome to see so much energy and engagement!
A big thanks to Ms. Kavanagh and Ms. Keating for taking the lead on Education Week! Ms. Keating was one of the winners of the NLTA's Education Week Social Media Contest!
Reading Room
We were excited to open our Reading Room during Education Week! This is an awesome space that has been designed for independent reading and writing. Some classes have had the opportunity to spend time there recently. Based on the reactions of the students, it is a great learning environment a wonderful addition to our school!
