Principal's Message
Bears,
It was another great week at Oakdale High School! I have a few staff members to thank for their contributions over the past week. Ms. Miller and Ms. Mulcahy did a tremendous job organizing our Homecoming Dance on Saturday. The students seemed to have a great time! A special thank you to Ms. Pyles who organized our PSAT Testing this week on Wednesday. Many hours went into planning this testing event and her efforts made the testing go smoothly..
I hope everyone enjoys the cooler weather this weekend. Take the time to rejuvenate for the four day week next week, as schools are closed on Friday, October 18 for teacher professional learning. I’ll see everyone on Monday!
Mr. Caulfield
Proud Principal

......which was named to the 2024 AP School Honor Roll!
The AP School Honor Roll recognizes schools whose AP program are delivering results and broadening access for students.
Schools can earn the Honor Roll recognition annually based on criteria that reflect a commitment to increasing their school’s college-going culture, providing opportunities for students to earn college credit, and maximizing college readiness. The AP School Honor Roll offers four levels of distinction: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum.
Oakdale High had 48% of seniors who took at least one AP Exam during high school, 40% of seniors scoring a three or higher on at least one AP Exam, and 9% of seniors who took five or more AP Exams!
The 2024 AP School Honor Roll also recognizes Oakdale High School as providing all students the chance to participate in AP, including students of underrepresented populations.
Kudos again to our AP teachers and our students who continue to strive for excellence!

OHS Theatre Presents "Godspell 2012"
This classic, yet contemporary Broadway Musical is a modern day retelling of the Gospel of Matthew rewritten in 2012 for a more contemporary audience. The redesigned musical maintains its main message of hope, love and tolerance for our modern society.
A small group of people help Jesus Christ tell different parables by using a wide variety of games, storytelling techniques and a hefty dose of comic timing. An eclectic blend of songs, ranging in style from rock to vaudeville, is employed as the story of Jesus' life dances across the stage. Dissolving hauntingly into the Last Supper and the Crucifixion, Jesus' messages of kindness, tolerance and love come vibrantly to life.
Purchase your tickets early for best seating options. “Godspell” will only have three shows, Saturday, November 23 at 2pm and 7pm; and Sunday, November 24 at 2pm.
Buy your tickets TODAY at www.ShowTix4u.com
Attention: NHS Applicants
By October 31st, National Honor Society applicants will receive a letter in school notifying them of whether or not they are accepted into NHS for the 24-25 school year.
