Thank you for your continued support as we start another Magical Year at John Marshall! It is great to see our students feeling more confident each day as they know the routines for arrival and dismissal and also know the expectations for the type of school community we are building at John Marshall. Our students are showing us daily the difference a Positive Attitude can have on their day. As we continue to welcome new learners to John Marshall, it is important that our students model the beliefs from Positive Action and help their new classmates experience the "Magic of Marshall."
* Please remember to have your child seated on the passenger side of the vehicle, so they can enter and exit safely on the sidewalk. We do not want the students in the parking lot area.
*Remember to pull all the way up, this way more vehicles can have students exit/enter at one time.
*At dismissal, if you have multiple children that you are picking up, we will be having them stand in one spot to make it easier for you during pick up.
*If your child is in Fourth or Fifth Grade and you want to pick up your child and you are not in a car, please meet your child near the Media Center doors.
PTO
The PTO sponsored Online Spirit Wear Store currently has a Back to School Sale. The sale will end on September 24th, please see our flyer.
John Marshall School is excited for another year filled with PTO activities. We encourage all families to join the PTO for this school year. Please be sure to read all about the PTO here.
School Pictures
School Pictures will be either September 25th or September 26th. Please see the schedule for the classes here. Your child's teacher will be sending information out to you. There is an order for that can be filled out and sent back to school or you can order online.

Genesis Parent Portal
Please make sure you have logged into the portal to find out your child’s teacher and their room number. All forms must be completed to find out your child’s teacher.
If you need assistance getting onto the portal, John Marshall School is offering assistance on the following dates:

Please go by the Media Center doors and someone will be there to assist you.
1st Title 1 Assembly of the Year
Corey the Dribbler will be our first assembly for the school year on September 30th. The assembly is connected to our Social and Emotional Learning goals. Corey teaches the importance of treating their Teachers, Parents/Guardians, and Classmates with Respect. They are taught the value of kindness and how to treat others the way they themselves would like to be treated. Self-Respect is also taught and the importance of eating healthy, staying active, having a great attitude, being responsible and ready to learn!
