PBIS Updates: Winterfest Celebration!
Thank you to all families who have signed up for donations for Winterfest! We still need many items to help make our day a success. Please consider donating if you haven’t. The link is below, or you can contact alvina.stover@d300.org. All items need to be brought to the main office by 1/17.
The tardy challenge continues into next week. Students can earn prizes and rewards just for coming to class on time!

Your feedback and partnership is important to us at HMS. If you complete the form, your student’s name will be entered into a raffle for a prize. Raffle winners will be announced by the end of the semester. Please complete the short form here.

Girls Basketball: Attention 7th and 8th grade girls interested in basketball. All

HMS Celebrates Physical Literacy!
Dear Parents/Students, The Physical education and health department would love to engage the community by getting to know how you and your family demonstrate physical literacy outside of school. Physical literacy is competence and confidence in a wide variety of physical activities in multiple environments. Some examples could be horseback riding, rock climbing, running, skateboarding, bike riding, sports, etc.
If you would like to be part of our school's celebration of physical literacy please have your students bring in a photo of themselves or family demonstrating physical literacy. The photos will be presented on a bulletin board outside of the upper gym. If you would prefer to drop your photo HERE we can print them for you as well.
We look forward to seeing all of the different ways our community here at HMS is demonstrating physical literacy.
Thank you,
The Physical Education & Health Department
