Hi Wildcats!

We are so excited for the Wildcat Fun Run this week on Thursday. Thank you to Andrea Chamberlin-Rodriguez and the PAWs team for all of your work to organize this big fundraising event for our school.

Just a reminder that there is no school on Monday, 11/11, in observance of Veterans Day. Thank you to those who have served in the Military or have friends/family that have served.

The Wildcat run is this Thursday, November 14th! A huge thank you to everyone who has been working so hard to raise money for our school. We have made it to just over $20k so the students can bring their favorite stuffed animal to school on Wednesday! There's still time left so keep up the great work. Parents and family members are invited to attend the run and cheer on your Wildcat(s)! Please enter through the upper lot and look for the parent cheering section! Running Club

Running Club has officially started. Students have the opportunity to run/walk laps around the field. Their running card gets scanned and records their miles. We need parents to help scan cards from 8:25-8:40am daily. Click the link if you are able to help. Running Club Volunteer Sign Up

The Giving Tree

This holiday season, PUSD has identified families who need support. You can help by buying a gift via the website, QR code or by picking up a gift tag on the tree in the school's office. Gifts should be new and unwrapped. SignUp Sheet | Evite All gifts should be delivered to the office by the end of the school day on Friday, 12/6. Thank you in advance for your consideration and support.

We are looking forward to focusing on Gratitude this month! One way to think about Gratitude is “choosing to appreciate the people and things in our lives.” Practicing Gratitude can increase our well-being and even our happiness!

Gratitude is 1 of 3 traits we will focus on throughout the year that helps students Be Well. Across grade levels, students will be developing skills like emotion regulation, positive self-talk, and stress-management.

Celebrate your child's birthday with a book donation to our school library! If you would like to participate in our Birthday Book Club, please click here for more information. When your child participates in our Birthday Book Club, a special Birthday Book Club book plate with their name will be placed in the book they have donated.

Of course, our library is ALWAYS happy to receive books from our Amazon Wish List, even if it's not in honor of a birthday!
