Hello Quantum Families,
Thank you to all the families that joined us for Conferences last week. Education is a partnership between teachers and families, and we appreciate all of your support at home. I would also like to extend a huge thank you to our teachers, who spent countless hours preparing and planning for Conferences.
Our Color Run fundraiser is here!! This is our big fundraiser for the year and helps provide supplies for our Explore and Elements classes plus funds for our school-wide events. There are school-wide, class, and individual prizes! Our goal is to earn $18,000 for our school and if we hit our goal we’ll be dunking staff in a dunk tank!! I am so ready to be dunked so let’s get those donations in here!
Our Color Run event is Friday, November 1st from 1:15-2:45pm and families are welcome to watch or volunteer. Contact Dessy Flores to volunteer deflores@eusd.org
Hispanic Heritage Month recognizes the contributions and influence of Hispanic culture to the nation's achievements, culture, and history. Quantum is proud to recognize Hispanic Heritage Month with beautiful student-made decorations in the Great Hall. We are also ready to make our ofrenda, or alter, for Dia de Los Muertos. The ofrenda is created to welcome loved ones from beyond who come back to visit. We’d love contributions from our Quantum community - photos or offerings (papel picado, marigolds, pan de muerto, sugar skulls, etc).
