Chromebooks
Reminder: It’s important for students to charge their Chromebooks and bring them to school each day. Loaner devices are limited, and borrowing one disrupts class time. Having their devices ready to go helps them stay on track with their learning and ensures a smooth start to the school day. Thank you for your support in helping students be prepared!

Outer Cape Health Services Navigator School-Based Service Site
MRHS has joined with Outer Cape Health Services to offer additional support to our school community. This new project aims to increase access to community supports and clinical services for students and their families. The service will provide onsite access to OCHS navigator services and tele-behavioral and telemedicine appointments. The school-based OCHS Navigator will work alongside school personnel to help students and families to access locally-based services and resources. The Navigator program will support students in connecting to the resources that they need to improve health, wellness, and academic engagement. Navigators will provide customized case management services, ensuring that students and families are connected to the supports that they need. To learn more, click here or speak to the school's nurses or counselors.
Students from SAIL visit Eastham with author Nancy Saglione-Peck
On Friday, September 13, students from the SAIL Program traveled to Eastham and had a wonderful day!
"We are reading The Adventurous Life of a Cape Cod Dog written by Nancy Saglione-Peck who is from Eastham. It is a wonderful tale of the adventures of Shelby, Nancy's dog and is told from Shelby's point of view. In the book, Shelby goes on many adventures with his parents around Cape Cod. The kids are loving it and learning about different places on Cape Cod, the history of Cape Cod, science topics, and so much more!
Today, Nancy met us at First Encounter Beach, where one of the chapters is set. She brought Shelby's brother (Shelby "couldn't make it") and we all went on a walk on the beach together. The kids were able to ask her questions and she stayed and had snack with us. Then she gave each student a signed copy of her book and wrote a little note to each student...so sweet. After the beach, we headed to the visitors center and watched a movie about Cape Cod, went to the museum and explored a bit. From there, we went to the Red Barn for lunch and then stopped to get the kids an ice cream on the way home. (Shelby always got an ice cream on the way home from the beach:) It was the absolute best day! The kids were so happy!"
SHORE students
Students of the SHORE Program take their skills into the community. Reese Labinski, Claire Cooney, and Grade Jodice enjoy spending their Tuesday morning cleaning the dance studio and occasionally posing for a photo.

LATINOS IN CAPE COD FESTIVAL: Saturday, October 5 at the MRHS
With the support of The Arts & Justice Collective and Amplify POC, Inc., we are excited to announce the First Annual Latinos Festival in Cape Cod, which will take place on Saturday Oct 5th, from 10am-2:00 pm at the Monomoy Regional High School.
The event is FREE, and beside the Latinos, all communities are welcomed to attend too! This is going to be a great opportunity to celebrate Latino traditions and pride highlighting the richness of our latino music, and art, essential facts of the cultural fabric of our countries. In addition, it will help us to create bridges of understanding and fraternity among our diverse communities.
We will have typical tables from Latin countries, workshops for entrepreneurs, information about resources and support, keynote speakers, games for families, food trucks and live music from Mariachi Guadalajara, visiting from Boston!
For the educational community, this festival offers a valuable pedagogical resource. Students of Spanish and other multicultural programs will have the opportunity to experience an immersive event, connecting what they learn in the classroom with the vibrant reality of Latin culture. This will enrich their learning and foster greater appreciation and respect for diversity.
Please contact cberbeo@monomoy.edu for more information or if you are interested in participating in any of the activities. You can also visit the website:
