Mrs. Donnelly has transferred to Susan H. Nelson School.
Mr. Mann was hired as the Assistant Principal for RVHS.
Mrs. Cunningham has moved to room 18 and will teach Apex
We are very excited to welcome four new staff members to the Ranch:
Ms. Jereczek, RVHS Biology and Earth/Space Science and ASB teacher.
Mrs. Medina, RVHS Math and Physics teacher
Mrs. Sindermann, RVHS secretary
Mrs. Webb, RVHS English 11 teacher
RVHS Student Schedule and Elective Survey
All students need to complete a survey indicating whether the student prefers an Early Schedule or a Schedule. The survey also asks what electives a student prefers to take. Failure to complete the survey may result in a student’s schedule and elective being chosen for the student. (Click here.)
RVHS Graduation Requirements
At the recommendation of the RVHS teachers, the School Board voted to change the graduation requirements for the RVHS. The changes will take effect with the class of 2022. This year’s seniors will continue to follow the previous graduation requirements.
Here is a summary of the changes:
RVHS ONLINE SCHEDULE
No Online Option at RVHS
IPads
RVHS’s teachers and School Site Council made the decision last Spring to initiate the use of iPads. Each student will be issued an iPad while they enroll at RVHS. Students will be able to use iPads at school and at home. Teachers will be tasked with finding creative uses of the iPads through project based learning.
Textbook and iPad Checkout Days
Students will receive a physical or digital textbook for each of their classes along with an iPad. Please be sure to attend your scheduled time. Checkout Days are August 12 and 13.
All students are required to schedule a pick up time by using SignUpGenius (click here).
On your Checkout Day, please park in the bus loop or the student parking lot off of Margarita Street and walk up the ramp to the campus where you will be directed. (The front will be CLOSED.) Students may attend alone or may bring ONE parent/guardian. Masks and social distancing are required.
TECHNOLGY USE AND LIABILITY AGREEMENT
TVUSD has created a device checkout procedure. Student/parent/guardian MUST sign the Technology Use and Liability Agreement.
