Principal's Message
Good morning, all!
Normally we send out this message on Sunday evening, however we delayed to be sure we had the most accurate and up to date club and activities list, as we are running our first session this Thursday! Students will be able to opt in to clubs and activities during Tiger Time, once every three weeks. On October 3rd, any student, FLEX or FOCUSED, can visit a club or activity to learn more about what they have to offer. We believe these groups are another way for us to connect students to school, and encourage participation! Students who attend clubs need to sign in with that advisor and stay for the duration, so that we have accurate attendance. Others who do not participate can use Tiger Time as regularly scheduled (attend a FLEX space, work with a teacher, or stay in 2nd period for Study Hall.
Here is the list! We will continue to update it as we go.
Have a fabulous week!
Ms. Ichi

New safety protocols
This year, Battle Ground Public Schools joins most Southwest Washington schools and districts in using the Standard Response Protocol for emergencies. Depending on the situation, a school will be placed in a hold, secure, lockdown, evacuation or shelter. See what these terms mean. This common language helps schools, first responders and the community communicate clearly and effectively to reduce misunderstandings in emergency situations.

The importance of regular attendance
Thank you for working to maintain your child’s attendance. Regular attendance and punctuality are essential to student learning and success. The skills that students learn in primary school will help them be successful in middle and high school.
