CES- Principal Message

Happy Sunday, Chameleon Families!
Parents,
Thank you to all the family and friends who donated to our Apex Leadership fundraiser. Over the last month, Tracks 1-4 raised 97% of our $25,000 goal. We appreciate your generosity and will use the funds to purchase items for academic enrichment and to make campus improvements. If you have any last minute donations, please enter them today! myapexevent.com
Lately, we have noticed an uptick in negative behavior related to Pokemon cards. These behaviors are occurring in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Students should leave their Pokemon cards at home so they can focus on instruction. Thank you for your support with this.
Cultural Arts Assembly provided by PTSA
On Thursday, our students will experience the Drumming Up World Music- a Rhythm Hunters Adventure with Dancing Drum. Students will learn about the following rhythms and destinations: DJOLE Rhythm, from Sierra Leone & Guinea, West Africa CALYPSO Rhythm, from Trinidad & Tobago, and The Caribbean TANGO Rhythm, from Argentina, South America. They will also get to make music themselves with a drum, a shaker, or a block. It's guaranteed to be a great time and a great learning experience!
