  • Teachers cannot make change for field trips, t-shirts, etc. Please send in checks or cash for the exact amount due only.
  • Science Fair boards are for sale in the front office for $3.25.
  • We are looking for volunteer to take pictures of Walk to School Day on 10/2 (click on link description below).

Important Dates

Sept 30 - Last day to order yearbooks with a 15% discount

Oct 2 - Walk to School Day; SAC meeting 3:00 pm

Oct 4 - Early release 1:15 pm, free potato smiles in the cafeteria lunch line

Oct 9 - PTO meeting 2:45 pm; 5th grade Camp Parent Night

Oct 10 - 2nd grade Curriculum Night 5:30 pm

Oct 11 - Early release 1:15 pm; end of 1st nine weeks

Oct 14 - Student Holiday

Oct 15 - 18 - National School Lunch Week

Oct 16 - Tijuana Flats 1st grade Spirit Night

Oct 18 - Early release 1:15 pm; report cards issued; Book Fair begins; Harvest Hoedown

Manatee has been named by the State Board of Educations as a School of Excellence. Of the 3,324 schools that received a school grade in the 2018-2019 school year, 422 elementary schools have been named a School of Excellence.
