Highlights of the Week
What an incredible week it has been at Donalda School!
The highlight of our week was undoubtedly the Christmas Concert on Tuesday night. Our students did an amazing job showcasing their talents, and it was such a joy to see their hard work shine on stage. A special thank you goes out to Mrs. Andersson, Mrs. Pelech, and Mrs. Murat for your leadership and dedication in making this event such a success. I’d also like to acknowledge the incredible work done behind the scenes by our students from the tech crew to those involved in stage design, props, and program creation—your contributions truly made the evening unforgettable!
Other exciting moments this week included the Winter’s Dance hosted by 5C during SEL and lunch recess on Wednesday, as well as the festive Christmas parties on Friday. It has been wonderful to see so much joy and celebration throughout the school.
As we wrap up 2024, I’d like to take a moment to reflect on what has been a terrific start to the school year. The energy and enthusiasm of our students, families, and staff have made these months incredibly rewarding. I know we are all looking forward to a well-deserved break to relax and spend quality time with loved ones.
On behalf of the staff at Donalda School, I wish you all a Merry Christmas and many blessings in 2025. May this holiday season bring you peace, happiness, and cherished memories.

Student of the Week
Brinley Clark
Brinley has shown what a caring and kind person she is. When a friend was sad and upset Brinley's first thought was not about herself but about taking care of her friend. She was willing to give up ALL her special ornaments she had made to brighten her sad friends' day. If someone is sad or needs help Brinley wants to be the first to help them out.
Teila Lipka-Hogg
Teila has been very helpful in preparing our set for the Christmas concert. Her adaptability and wilingness to tackle a variety of projects has resulted in a lovely set. She worked each class to create signs, decorations for the tree and even stepped up to draw some tools for the backdrop. All of her work showcased her many artistic talents! Thank you for all your work, Teila!
