2020-2021 ESSA Consolidated Planning Amounts
The ESSA Consolidated Planning Amounts have been released. You will see that the planning amounts look similar to last year unless you are running a Migrant Program. The Title I, Part C (Migrant Funds) are less than what we are used to seeing for the Migrant program for most districts. Please look at the attached sheet when you have time to begin planning for the 2020-2021 school year. The ESSA Consolidated Application will be available in early June. The ACE team will definitely keep you updated on due dates and if you are an ACE District, we will be contacting you to schedule the completion of your application.
CARES ESSER Funds Allotment
The ESSER Funds district allocations were released last week. Please look at the document below to review your district allocation. We will be attending an ESC training the first week of June and will have more details to you after the training. In the meantime, please continue to track all COVID expenditures and reference the CARES Act Funding and COVID Expense FAQ (see link below) to answer any questions. The ACE team will definitely keep you updated on due dates and if you are an ACE District, we will be contacting you to schedule times to complete this application as well.

TEA staff will conduct the following application training sessions through video conference webinars. Register for each session in advance by clicking on the session titles below. Capacity is limited to 500 participants. If we receive more than 500 registrations, TEA will send out another notice regarding an overflow streaming site.

PNP Basics 101 Training
TEA is providing an ESSA Private Nonprofit (PNP) Equitable Services Basics 101 training on Monday, June 1st at 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Participants will need to register in advance (see below) in order to receive the Zoom meeting link. This training is designed for PNP school officials and school districts who have not participated with equitable services in the past. Training will cover basic requirements on the provision of private school equitable services through the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA).
If you have questions in advance, feel free to send the question to PNPOmbudsman@tea.texas.gov with the subject: ‘PNP Zoom Questions.’
After registration, you will be given the option to add the event to your calendar and/or copy the link. Please be aware that the link will not be active until the day of the meeting.

Back to School Conference!
The Region 17 Back-to-School Conference is open for registration! We have changed the structure a bit to better serve our teachers and leaders by creating a one-day event geared to gear up your team. We will be repeating the same day to serve more of our schools, both through session options, seating, and even parking! We now can serve up to 800 participants each day. We hope that your district can benefit from one of these options, so choose the day you would like to have your team attend:
