SkillsUSA - Conference Update

We are beyond excited to be offering an app for this year’s State Leadership & Skills Conference! We are using a fantastic platform called Yapp to host our SLSCTX25 App so you’ll need to download that app first and foremost. We will be adding updates to the app throughout the conference. There are several events and prize opportunities throughout the conference, and we will post updates on the app. Don't miss out!

All students must complete the following assessments prior to arriving at the 2024 State Leadership & Skills Conference:

1. SkillsUSA Knowledge Test (Study Guide is on the Updates Page of the Website)
2. Skilled Contest Assessment Test

Please see the tab below to explain how to log in to the NOCTI Testing System. The testing site will OPEN on March 24 and CLOSE on March 28.

The Contest Schedule is currently being updated. Anything currently in RED is still not confirmed. If you have any questions, please reach out to the State Office. Students must attend Orientation times and also be in correct contest attire. There will be penalties for not being in correct clothing. Contest Location Addresses can be found at the bottom of the schedule.

All hotel reservations is the responsibility of the school this year. SkillsUSA Texas will not be booking through our offices for State Conference. The National Conference will require you to book with the State Office, per the National guidelines. We do have a suggested list to help you find the right hotel for your group.

All substitutions that were made after the deadline will incur a $50 fee. The form must be completed and submitted or it will not be validated. Please contact the State Office if you have any questions.

✅ Who Can Attend? Only registered attendees will have access to this exclusive event. Any outside guests must pay a $50 fee by Wednesday before the event to attend.

✅ Entry Requirements: Green wristbands, included in your registration packet, will be required for concert entry.

✅ Dress Code: School dress code will be enforced—please ensure compliance.
