Hello Wickman Families,

Monday is a holiday on honor of President's Day and our school will be closed. We will see you all on Tuesday, February 18th.

Our annual Read-A-Thon begins on Thursday, Feb. 20th. We love this opportunity to promote a lifelong love of reading and to raise funds for the Accelerated Reader program. This is the only time of year that we raise funds specifically to finance the AR program for our school. During our Read-a-thon kick-off assembly, classrooms will be "sorted" into one of the four Harry Potter themed houses. From Feb. 20th thru March 14th students will be involved in many fun activities. I for one am looking forward to listening to Hufflepuff read to students in our Reader's Garden.

Please take advantage of your opportunity to participate in the 2025 K-12 School Quality Survey. We’ll use the results of this survey to better meet the needs of every child that attends our school. The online survey can be taken from any computer, tablet, or smartphone. Please check your email for an invitation and survey link or simply scan the QR code posted below.

7:20 AM Breakfast begins

7:30 AM- Entrance Gate opens for students grades 1st - 6th to enter campus

7:50 AM- School instruction begins and gates close. If you arrive after 7:50, please come into our office to sign-in your child.

2:30 School dismissal (Mon. Tues. Wed. & Fri)

11:20 School dismissal every Thursday

Kindergarten

Please walk your child to the kindergarten gate by 7:40am. Teachers will meet you at the gate at 7:40 to bring the students into class.

Kindergarten Dismissal is at 11:10 daily.

Kindergarten lunch at school is optional. Parents wishing to participate in lunch, please walk your child to the office after dismissal and we will direct your child to the lunch area. Parents will need to wait in our office area as their child eats their lunch.

AR Morning Club

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 7:20AM

Grades 1-3 in room 8

Grades 4-6 in room 8

We have had a few near accidents between cars and kids due to drivers who are not following our procedures. The procedures we have in place are not optional and have been created for the safety of our students. Please help us keep our students safe!

The green arrows, illustrated above, show the path cars must follow. Student drop off may only take place when you reach the area with red arrows.

Walkers must follow the safety walking path which is to the right of the green arrows above.

Please understand that if a staff member asks you to follow the procedures, it is for the safety of our students.
