Student of the Month Spotlight!

Congratulations to Brekel Dunlap, who is our November student of the month! Teachers report that Brekel is always a leader and a friend.

Hard Hat Award

Jon Gordon writes about George Boiardi and the lacrosse team at Cornell University to explain what it means to be awarded the Hard Hat Award. This year, we took the same concept with the irony of construction and began awarding our own teachers and staff members at LHR with the Hard Hat Award. In doing so, we recognize teachers and staff members for their positive attitudes, strong work ethic, and their commitment to excellence.

George W. Bush Library Visits

Our students were invited to attend the Presidential Library at the SMU campus. Our students were able to explore many exhibits housed there, but the Freedom Matters exhibit provided documents that our students were able to see.

PHT and Culinary Friendsgiving

Coach Hughes does and phenomenal job of working with our students, staff, parents, and community to create a meal for all to enjoy. Our students look forward to this time together as do many of our staff members.
