Hello Dunham Families
We’re heading into two short weeks before our Spring Break, which will take place the week of April 7th–11th. There's a lot of excitement on campus, and we wanted to share a few highlights with you!
This week, we welcome back Dave Nettle, who will continue his work with our students on GRIT—learning how to work through challenges with persistence and a positive mindset. His visit always brings energy and inspiration, especially through the fun challenge games the students love!
We’re also kicking off our March Madness Cornhole Tournament! Students will be paired up and compete in a fun and friendly competition that brings excitement, laughter, and teamwork to campus. We’re looking forward to seeing their great sportsmanship in action!
On Friday, we’ll be holding a special secret assembly after lunch (weather permitting). The theme is “You can do anything you put your mind to,” and we can’t wait to surprise the students with this uplifting and empowering message.
Mark your calendars: Thursday, March 27th is Spring Class Picture Day! There’s nothing to fill out—just be sure to come to school with a smile!
Looking ahead, after Spring Break we are thrilled to launch an exciting new art program with Maxfield Bala, a talented muralist from Petaluma. Maxfield will work directly with our students, teaching them how to create, design, and paint large-scale murals. Students will develop their ideas collaboratively and then help bring the mural to life with Maxfield’s guidance—what an incredible creative experience for our campus!
