Please join West Hills High School’s Wolf Pack Theatre for our very 1st virtual performance of It’s a Wonderful Life: A live radio play!
This beloved American holiday classic comes to captivating life as a live 1940s radio broadcast. With the help of an ensemble that brings a few dozen characters to the stage, the story of idealistic George Bailey unfolds as he considers ending his life one fateful Christmas Eve.
Thanks to the wonder of technology, our students have been able to design, create, perform, and edit this well-known holiday tale from the comforts of their own homes. I am so thrilled and amazed to share their work with you as you experience something close to what a cozy mid 20th century radio hour might have felt like.
On Demand Streaming starts next Wednesday December 16th and runs through Saturday December 19th.
Individual listening tickets are $5.00 ($7.95 including the streaming fee)
Family listening tickets are $10.00 ($12.95 including a streaming fee)

Flu Shot Clinic
Thank you WH Health Pathways teacher Penny McDowell and our student volunteers for partnering with GUHSD Health Occupations Center Nursing students and the San Diego County Public Health Department for carrying out a successful drive thru FREE Flu Shot Clinic this past week. It was an opportunity for our students to apply classroom skills in the community!
Check out our Dance course taught by Mrs. Gwyn! Both blended and distance learners have learned 14 eight counts to put together a fun hip hop dance. Their goal now is to choreograph their own two eight counts to complete the dance with their own style and flair all while practicing social distancing and proper sanitation. Please click on the video links below.
Also, click on this link to see why students like dance!
Thank you Mrs. Gwyn and students for allowing us to "peek into your classroom!"
Check out our 9th grade ENS course taught by Mr. Hondros and Mr. Kinser! Our 9th grade blended learners have been working on their Frisbee throwing skills this past quarter as well as practicing their skill at Frisbee Golf. The last two weeks of the quarter were spent participating in a Frisbee Golf Tournament amongst their classmates. Students are learning the rules, strategies, and techniques of Frisbee Golf in a friendly competitive manner. The top participants will be awarded a "class championship." Thank you Mr. Hondros, Mr. Kinser, and students for allowing us to "peek into your classroom!"

CIF Update regarding athletics
Wolf Pack students and families,
CIF State released a statement on 12/1/20 Regarding Education-Based Athletics for 2020-21 School Year. The official CIF statement can be found HERE.
A few things to note...
- All full practice and competition start dates are officially on hold until updated guidance is issued (Not expected from the California Department of Public Health until after January 1).
- All Regional and State Championship events are going to be removed from the Season 1 Sports calendar.
- Boys volleyball will be moved to Season 2 to avoid the loss of a second full season.
While this is not what we would wish for our student-athletes, we remain committed to following state and local guidelines regarding schools and COVID-19. We will continue to hope for a change in guidelines in January that will allow our athletes to compete and will send updates as we receive them.
Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.
Thank you!
