HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL OF OUR SCE FAMILIES
We want to wish all of our families a safe, enjoyable, and relaxing holiday. Your children have worked extremely hard over the last four months and are ready for a well-deserved break.
We'd like to thank you for all the love and support you have provided us over the first semester and this holiday season. The staff is continuously blown away by the generosity and support of all of our Soda Creek families. We all feel very lucky to work here and to work with the Soda Creek students and families.
We encourage you to spend quality time with your loved ones during the holiday season. Whether you're celebrating with festive traditions, enjoying quiet moments together, or simply taking time to relax and recharge, we hope you create cherished memories.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back to school refreshed and ready to learn in the new year!
With warmest regards,
The Soda Creek Staff

Stay healthy during flu season
Flu and RSV are on the rise statewide, and other respiratory infections are also prevalent in our community. Nobody wants to be sick over the winter break! Here’s what you can do to protect your child, your family, and others:
The best way to prevent flu and COVID is vaccination. The CDC recommends everyone 6 months and older should receive both these vaccines. It’s not too late to get caught up. Schedule today to be fully protected before the holidays!
Proper hand washing can prevent one in five respiratory infections. Wash hands frequently with soap and water for 20 seconds, especially after using the bathroom and before eating. Watch this short handwashing video with your student.
Disinfect surfaces regularly.
Practice good respiratory hygiene by covering sneezes and coughs with an elbow or tissue.
NO PARKING IN PRESCHOOL LOT
Please do not park in the Preschool Parking lot unless you are a preschooler's parent and are there to pick your child up. We need to ensure all PK parents can park their cars, as they are required to come into the building to collect their children. Thank you for your understanding and compliance.

🦮 A REMINDER from the SSSD: NO DOGS on School Property!🦮
We Love Our Furry Friends, However...
To ensure the safety and comfort of everyone, dogs are not permitted on school grounds during academic hours or during school-sponsored events. Well-behaved dogs on leashes in parking lots during pick-up and drop-off are welcome. We kindly remind all dog owners to not walk through school campuses during school hours, including dogs on leashes.
The only exception is for service animals trained to assist individuals with disabilities, as outlined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). These service dogs must perform specific tasks directly related to their handler’s disability.
This policy helps us maintain a safe environment for all students and staff. If you’re walking your pet nearby, please remember to clean up after them to help keep our grounds clean and healthy for everyone.
Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our schools safe and welcoming!
Caption in photo: I love all SSSD kids! However, I shouldn’t be on school property during the day. Let’s make sure our kids stay safe!
