The Cougar Update

Good morning and welcome to the 2024 - 25 school year!

I hope that every one of you had an amazing summer! The campus was certainly busy with summer school, the tight cleaning schedule, professional development, professional learning communities, and staff stopping in to make improvements to their classrooms and other spaces on campus.

As you saw in your welcome back letter, this year our theme is "Growing Together." By growing together, we acknowledge that each of our students, and each of us are on our own educational journey. And like any journey in an adventure novel, the diverse characters start in different locations or different stages, but through a combined effort, everyone ends up in a different place and changed for the better. By growing together, we share our skillsets and strengthen our community. No one is left out because we all move forward together. With the Carrillo staff leading the way and continuing to have high expectations and thoughtful support, I know this year be one that we look back on with pride! Welcome back!
