Montbello Middle Family Update
August 26th, 2024
Great First Week of School!!
Just a friendly reminder that the school day begins at 8:30 am. It's very important that students arrive on time so we can use every instructional minute this year!
Transportation
We truly appreciate your patience as we work to resolve our issues with transportation. Our Director of Operations is aware of the situation and working with us and the district to resolve the various issues so we can have a smooth transition for your students to and from school. We'll continue to keep you updated with any changes.
No Early Release this Wednesday
This Wednesday, 8/28 will be a full school day. Students will be dismissed at 3:50pm
CSC (Collaborative School Comittee)
We have an exciting opportunity for you to get involved in shaping the future of our school and supporting the success of our Montbello Middle Warriors. The Collaborative School Committee (CSC) is currently seeking nominations for parent representatives.
The CSC is a vital part of our school community, responsible for advising on key decisions, allocating resources, and fostering collaboration among parents, teachers, and administrators. Serving on the CSC provides you with a platform to actively contribute to the educational experience at Montbello Middle School.
Why Join the CSC?
Impactful Decision-Making: As a CSC member, you'll have the chance to influence decisions related to curriculum, budgeting, and school policies.
Collaborative Community: Work closely with teachers, administrators, and fellow parents to create positive changes and improve our school.
Support Student Success: Your insights and perspectives can directly benefit our students' learning experiences.
Voice for Parents: Serve as a voice for parents and help ensure their concerns and ideas are heard and considered.
How to Nominate Yourself or Others:
If you are interested in nominating yourself or another parent, please complete the nomination form. We’re really working to increase our parent voices this school year. Once you’ve clicked the link to the survey, you can click the 3 dots in the top right corner to select your preferred language for the survey.
Additional information will follow regarding next steps as well as meeting times.
If you have any additional questions please reach out to the school.
