Teach Too
Funding opportunities for collaborative partnership work
Three weeks left to apply for Teach Too project funding
Are you a post-16 education and training provider or employer involved in the delivery of technical education programmes?
If so, you are eligible to apply via the Association of Colleges for £10,000 for an Education and Training Foundation Teach Too Organisational Development Project.
Each project should focus on how Teach Too can be embedded and delivered effectively across the whole of your organisation.
Teach Too approaches are characterised by:
a clear line of sight to work
‘Dual Professional’ teachers and trainers who combine occupational and pedagogical expertise
staff who are trusted and given the time to develop partnerships and curricula with employers
access to industry-standard facilities and resources reflecting ways in which technology is transforming work
clear escalators to higher level vocational learning, developing and combining deep knowledge and skills.
Project activities must include genuine two-way street collaboration between providers and employers. All funded projects will develop approaches to embedding an organisational Teach Too collaborative strategy.
A frequently asked questions (FAQ) page is available. Applicants may submit questions until Wednesday 12 September 2018 via the AoC projects team. All questions and answers will be posted on the FAQ page for transparency.
Applicants are encouraged to familiarise themselves with how Teach Too is working effectively across the sector. Further information is available on the Teach Too resources page and effective practice case studies.
Organisations who have been funded for Teach Too activity in the past are welcome to apply for funding in this phase. In such cases, proposed activity should build on the previous work and extend delivery.
