CCA Husky Happenings

As we reach the midpoint of this school year, we must reflect upon accomplishments and areas for growth.

CCA scholars have put forth great effort to build our school through our beliefs in respect, responsibility, integrity, grit and growth mindset.

- TSI completions have increased: 12th grade up to 97% and 11th grade up to 62% complete in all subjects, 10th grade up to 86% and 9th grade up to 54% complete in Reading, as well as 9th grade up to 82% complete in Writing.

- Struggles in learning will soon pay-off as the Fall Semester comes to a close. See the Finals schedules included below.

- Goals for a strong Spring Semester should be in progress ready to be refined upon the receipt of semester grade reports.

- Parent support continues to grow with fresh ideas to help our children enjoy their high school experience while spending a great effort to accomplish a higher education.

Calling all CCA scholars and parents to help with our Recruitment efforts! We will be hosting a CCA Discovery Night on Tuesday, December 17th, at Crowley Middle School and Wednesday, December 11th at HF Stevens Middle School as applications open Monday, December 9th. We would love to have some parents and students speak about their experiences in CCA. If you are interested in speaking, please let me know, ASAP.

Please make sure you have completed the #NotAnymore requirement as soon as possible, see instructions from TCC below. You must have this completed before you will be allowed to register for Spring Semester courses. Mrs. Mar will be sending emails to all CCA scholars with spring course section numbers for registration. And, she will visit with you during classes in the next week or two to help you complete.

Great plans are coming together from CCABC! They have started a Memory Book and students are gathering pictures to submit. Thursday, December 5th will be the next get together as they stuff snack packs for CCA college finals (see Donation flyer). And, they have developed "Class of" shirts for sale $10 sizes S-XL, $12 2XL and $13 3 XL, pre-pay orders until Friday, December 6th.
